So i was in grade 11 when my friend tells me I need to watch this show called Avatar the last airbender. And I'm like "Isn't that an anime cartoon?" to which he replied "yes, yes it is. But its sooooo good!" I was skeptical. I'm like really? An anime? But I got sick and stayed home from school and he had given me the first season so I put it in and couldn't stop watching. When the weekend rolled around me and another friend headed over to this friends house to watch the second season cause it was so good. While we are watching my friend starts splashing around with his feet in a puddle and says "someone spilled their coke." Mine was beside me so I said "not mine" and our other friend was on the other side of the room and he says "i'ts wet over here too..." We then realize the basement is flooding from behind us! Within 5 minutes the whole basement was under an inch of water! We realised it was absolutely pouring rain outside so we took a lap around the block and then spent the rest of the day inside watching Avatar. This sparked my interest in anime and I've watched several more ever since. My favourite being "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood."
